Welcome to filipinolanguages.com, your online resource for Philippine language information.
For Cebuano, we offer audio and video products. An audio CD contains 26 categories of words and phrases. We have a DVD which contains the same audio as the CD, but displays the words as they are spoken. Philippine scenes are in the background.
The Philippines is a country with over 80 separate languages. Filipino is the national language of the Philippines. By an act of congress in 1989, Pilipino was changed to Filipino, which is based on Tagalog. Filipino and English are the two official languages of the Philippines. Taglish is a combination of Tagalog and English, and spoken primarily in the Manila area. Spanish is not widely spoken now, but there is a lot of Spanish influence in some Philippine languages. There are 12 Philippine languages with over one million native speakers.
We offer a free language newsletter we send via email. It includes language tips, guidelines, and other Philippine related
information. We check for new language based Philippine web sites and publish them in the newsletter.

Currently we are working on several projects. Our most recent project was converting the Cebuano DVD media to the
Sony
PSP (Playstation Portable) format. The video has been generated exclusively for the PSP, with larger text.
We are producing
the audio from the Cebuano CD & DVD in the
MP3 format for the iPod and other MP3 players.
This audio/video content for portable
devices makes it very convenient for use while traveling or away from home.
