The language software is updated periodically. This page provides information on current versions, upgrades, and software enhancements. The latest version information of the Filipino languages can be obtained from this page.

There are two types of upgrades - software package upgrades, and dictionary upgrades, which require the language software. If you are a customer who ordered directly from B&D Enterprises, you can obtain the latest version of the database (which contains the dictionary). The latest dictionary can be obtained for FREE for existing customers. It will work with previous versions of the language software. In our upgrade from version 4.0 to 4.1, we converted the software to a different database. Therefore, software version 4.1 and above is needed to continue to receive free dictionary updates.

The most current release of the software programs can be obtained for a small fee. To obtain software that requires a fee (Tagalog, Cebuano, & Ilocano language programs), remit $15, ($10 plus $5 shipping) to B&D Enterprises and you will receive your program(s) via priority mail. The free dictionary update will be sent via email.

Release Information:

Waray-Waray audio CD was released Oct. 1, 2007.
The Ilocano software (version 4.3) upgrade was released on 09/15/2007.

The Tagalog software (version 4.3) upgrade was released on 08/01/2007.

The Cebuano software (version 4.3) upgrade was released on 06/02/2007.
We are researching adding more Philippine languages.
We continue to work on dictionary revisions, and will have expanded dictionaries available periodically.
Our most recent project was producing the Cebuano DVD media available for the Sony PSP (Playstation Portable) . This was released the first quarter of 2007. The format is specific for PSP, but the media is distributed on CD-ROM.
We also have the Cebuano audio CD available on MP3 files. This is compatible for MP3 players, such as iPod, Zune, ZVUE, etc. The audio files are distributed on CD-ROM.

Existing customers only - To obtain the most recent copy of a dictionary send an e-mail with your request. To obtain an updated language program, remit the fee of $15.00 ($10 plus $5 shipping) and it will be sent via priority mail. If ordering the program upgrades from the web page, indicate in the Special Instruction section this is an upgrade, and we will adjust the amount for the upgrade. For current dictionary upgrades, version 4.1 or greater of the language software is required.
